Talk

I’m talking to you.

On the page, in my head,

Words forming even sometimes

On my lips.

Foolishly emotional

Laid bare for all the world to see,

Unable to stop it

Unable to stop

Myself.

Too many times

Spent wincing

With regret and resolve

Too many times

Forgiving myself

And you

For not being there.

Yet I keep talking.

Are you listening?

who ru talking to? Why’d you kill facebook?

Hahaha, that’s the beauty of the poem. It’s for me to know and you to find out. If I wanted people to know who I meant I’d have titled it something like BOB.

But I ended up killing facebook only briefly. I was tired and annoyed by having people on my “friends” list who weren’t actually my friends or who didn’t talk to me at all. Just added me and then never said anything.

So I reactivated it and culled the friends list.

I just love this poem. As a blogger, it’s easy to feel that you’ve given too much information. We all just want to be known.

Yes, that sums up the feeling rather nicely!
